A Week In Thornes While Drinking Coffee

Last week I had to evacuate the house for a week since the insurance company is trying to repair my bathroom. Had some weird mold growing, but the company did send us to a hotel near Hawthorne where I go most of the time and it's close to my community college. Unlimited coffee, and muffins in the morning wasn't bad.

This weekend went off to Sea World with Adriel,Amanda and Jenny. Had a strain of God's Gift which I picked up from the shop the previous day. I can't tell you how good this bud was... it was really God's Gift. Gave me so much for 20$ that I made a blunt and 4bowls... By the time I was at Sea World I was already faded and was just amazed by all the animals. Made me want to steal a penguin and ride shamu. All in all I had a good time... tiredsome but worthwhile. One of my New Years Resolution was to continue and better my Graffitti/Writting skills or whatever you want to call it. Went to pick up a dime at my friends house and he handed me 100 USPS stickers for slap-ups. I decided to just combine a grip of them and put a little message in the end. All I had was Expo markers that I use for my whiteboard so I had to make due. And this is what I cooked up.

Earlier in the day went over a friends house that just came back from the Philippines and got some P.I cigs. Suppose to be harsher than Newports. Makes me not want to try it at all ahaha.

This past weekend I visited San Diego with Adriel cause his homegirl had some free tickets to Sea World. But unfortunately due to the weird weather and a whole lot of unpredictable rain we all just headed to SD Downtown which started raining to. So all the pictures I got are more clouds and more clouds. Saw a rainbow and was tempted to actually see wtf was at the end of it, a unicorn? a pot of gold? Richard Simmon's workout video? Iono but I'll find out one day.

Who would've thunk that I would find myself in the canyon around 8-11Pm with my n!ggas on a Wednesday night to relax and spark some bud. A Very "Blunt" Story

The story starts off with me meeting up Brandon and then heading too Hoodlum Bob's hood house. Then Brandon twisted 3 blunts for the mission to the Malibu hills for some star gazing. Once we got on the Santa Monica Hwy we sparked up the 1st blunt and then we were just coasting through PCH (Pacific Coast Highway), then out of a sudden a fken police cop came out of no where and pulled us over. First thing he said is "So where's the pot?" Me and Bob kept our mouth shut and since Brandon had the med card he just said that he had 2 blunts. He got us all out of the car 1 by 1 starting with Bob then me then Brandon. As he was getting us out of the car he told us that we were just being detained and as long as we only had weed and no speed/cocaine/heroine/extacy etc.. we were good. When we were all in the back seat he tore Bob's car apart trying to get us on somthing else.. but he didn't find sh!t. He came back to the car and checked our record to see if we had any warrants or on probation.. came up clean.

Now here's the trippy part.. after he checked our record he takes the blunts that we had, take a good wiff (strawberry swisher ftw w/ Bubble Gum Bud) and then says "Nice twist." and gives it back to us. Telling us that pot is the lowest priority in his book. And the reason why he pulled us over is that Bob had a broken tail light... which we later checked and was true. A fken broken tail light... wow.

For old time sake... a old video from 2 months back. Wutchu know bout this.

Came back to Hoodlum's Bob's hood house sparked 1 in the car and another in the house.
Then the next day woke up went to Best Buy and bought me some Dvd's.

When Life Gives You Lemons, You Paint

I've never been much into Photoshop ever since it came out... I've always used MS Paint for editing my pictures or just draw. It doesn't have as much features as PS but Paint just gives me a better satisfaction once I'm done. If you've got any questions on how I did things just leave a comment and I'll answer it as clearly I can.

Step 1.
Get A Picture
(Took this picture of my Union x Kaws tee)

Step 2.
Crop what you want.

Step 3.
Color the rest of the things you don't need the same color as the back ground.
(My shirt was sort of faded so I just decided to go with black.. and it made it easier for me to focus on my subject.)

Step 4.
Color everything you want the same color. Don't forget to magnify so you can get every detail. You can get creative once your satisfied.

And the finishing outcome is this. I'll keep working on it till I'm satisfied.
The process may look easy... but it took me a good 2-3 hours.

I was planning to do an update last week.. but my lazy ass just got to lazy. Anyways I was watching B-Boy Planet that I recorded on MTV and I saw a familiar group I saw in a commercial about 3 years back that just simply amazed me. I've always kept up with Battle Of The Year for MC's but rarely for B-Boys and B-Boy Planet just showed me how truly big it was. After people have accomplished winning B.O.T.Y they are usually offered jobs (ads/commercial/promotions etc.) and it reminded me of All 4 One video that I saw. I got no clue wtf they are promoting (probably some electronic company) but I remember listening and seeing it and isntantly being hypnotized, repeating it over and over.
It had the perfect blend of Strings/DJ/Beatbox/B-Boy that I have ever seen.

Another video commercial that couldn't have gone any better is by Wu-Tang & Nike for LJ "Chamber of Fear".
A perfect harmony of Orchestra/MC/Animation. RZA is most definitely a mother fken Genius.

Ever since 8th grade I have found myself doodling in notes non stop and till this day it hasn't change. I've never got up to paint but I'm constantly cooking up new ideas in my head during class. I've produced most of the things I've ever worked on in class and it came out pretty good in my opinion. Never really did have a steady style.. always remained "wild". If you can look closely at some of them there on my notes. I just got some stuff together and made this collage. I can't imagine myself actually paying attention in class through out the whole time with out even trying to make a quick throwy or sketch a character.. it's pretty much in my blood now. I've been writing Crisp for about 2-3years now and sometimes if I can't think of a word I just write either what class I'm in or some random words I find. I'll post from time to time of some of my sh!t.

Finally got around to thinking about fixing up my DB bike that I got during Freshman Year (7 years ago!). Got this for my birthday and rode it to summer school that summer.. it was around 6-7 miles to school. And after a year or so I put it to rest and havn't looked back then. But then I decided to finally fix it back up.. get new tire chains, tire tubes, handle grip... etc the works.

Heres what it looked like when I pulled it out of my backyard.

And here it is after I polished it down today.
Trying to get my parents to help me pay for the repairs... I'll be riding this 2x a week to go to school for my 1 class days. I'll post the finishing product once I'm done and show some updates here and there.

Today Adriel hit me up if I wanted to go to a warehouse sale and I'm sure why not. Woke up early as fk.. around 9Am and I went to sleep around 4Am. Went all the way to Pomona (arrived 11Am) and cot damn people were already there and the line was about 2 blocks long. Sh!t looked like a Dannity Kane cd signing. It also doesn't help if you only have $40 to buy stuff either.. damn I need some quick $$ so I can get my freebord already.

Met up at Adriel's then went to go pick up Timmy at his house.

Got hungry around Lunch so we headed to West Covina Mall to eat at Panda Express.
Since we parked at the very top... we saw all this dope ramps to go down and skate.. Some had narrow turns where you would have to carve fast.. I ate it 3x before getting it right. It also didn't help that at every ramp there was a mini bump.

This semester I picked up a photography class and the 1st assignment was to take pictures of our hobbies but give it a little something something... and when I went there the next week it's like she forgot what the assignment was all about.. ahahaha

So here's the photos I took.

This was taken with a flashlight and me and Adriel cruising down a hill somewhere near Palos Verdes. This shows how I like to cruise down hills.

This shows my love for photography. Saw a member from ISS do this concept so I tried it.

I tried using my boxes to look like a column but I only had enough for 1 1/2. So the boxes just represent a support beam cause for somewhat reason my life needs shoes.

Fall 08.. School Has Begun!

School started last week and cot damn was it hot as a mother trucker. But this week it started to cool down so I decided to take some WDYWT pictures and bring out some of my favorite fits. But the sad part is that I will start to sell most of my collection except my fitteds to buy me some electronics and a Freebord. I'm trying to get a iMac Book or a Desktop. Ohh yeah I also got one hectic schedule for Wednesday, 9:35Am-9:10Pm for 4 classes and got some break in between **sigh**. But I'm satisfied with my Fall schedule, no classes for Friday... 3 day weekends are the sh!t.

Weekend Vacation - "Silver Saddle"

This past weekend I went with my family and my parents church group to Silver Saddles Resort. Also my parents bought a lot over there for 50,000$ woahhhh.. and the resort gave us all of this perks such as unlimited use of all there facilities (spa) and equipments like kayaking bicycling and horseback riding etc. I thought it would be boring and it was for the 1st day but then it got chilled and I enjoyed my time. Also there was a pond filled with Koi fishes that liked to eat bread a lot.. it's just funny how they all fight or how they eat the bread. The only problem with most resorts is that its to damn hot out there and buffets make you eat like crazy. ahaha

Ending The Summer Off With Some Good Stuff

Finally got a shoe I was looking for. SC Cowboy NYC Dunks for a fair price after looking for a decent pair. Also convinced my mom to buy me the 12Bar Fitteds cause I'm broke but I still got to pay her back. Even though I got 2 more weeks till summer is officially over I'm satisfied with what I did during this summer.. next one should be better (Turning 21 on March woot woot). I think Proper is going to release some new fitteds next week so I'll keep this post updated with what I pick up... I'm alrady 15deep of fitteds within the past 2months. I'll do a collection posts of my fitteds and shoes later on next month so keep viewing.

I was happy that I got all 3 things at the same day that I took some pictures... enjoy.

First and for most shout out to Curtis for putting me in the guest list and Ron for saving me gas and driving all the way to Hollywood.

I was disappointed that they didn't sell the Sneakerpimp fitted during the event but I did manage to get my Proper fitted signed by Futura and Stash.

Rif_LA brought out the heaters for Cali. And Jeff is the one man security guard that had to look out for 30k+ worth of sneakers... talk about having your job on the line.

Dunkxchange Weekend

Here's some pictures from the DXC @ Active on Saturday. Free BBQ + Redbull and I got myself a flannel that ama probably wear for tomorow. Ballintwn brought out some of there heat with there world class collection. And congratulations to Curtis and Gary for there 3rd year DXC anniversary.

I ended up waking around 1P.M on Sunday and me, my brother and his gf ended up all going out for lunch at a deli restaurant @ Del Amo mall.. I think Jerry's Deli or somthing. That place pretty damn good... And you know how time flies when your eating a restaurant.. so we finished around 3:30Pm and ended up going to the DXC around 4Pm but couldn't stay long.. just really wanted to go to pick up a shirt that I was going to buy. I had to go church too for the 4:45 Mass and I really wanted to buy me some OlsonVans but no one had them.. stayed for the Fly Society performance.. it was pretty good.. they made me feel poor ahahaha. So I ended up not taking alot of pictures. Can't wait for Sneakerpimp next week. Now I got a dilema of either getting a new laptop (broke mine and using my brothers) or a new lens for the camera.

So most people contact me if I can get my hands on some Proper fitted for them. So here they are. Just hit me up if you need a fitted. I will charge retail (33$ after tax) + shipping (7$)=$40 no profit for me. Tipping is appreciated (gas). =)

Most of the pictures are accurate.. my camera is dirty so the focus was off and the lens was blurry.
The Grey/White P fitted has neon around the P and all the LBC fitted has Proper on the back. Just shoot me some questions if you got any.

This Photos were taken at Proper LBC. I will call in if they have your size and if they do we can talk about an agreement about what you want and the price. If you need a clearer pictures I have this current Proper Fitteds + the Grey/White P which I picked up today.

The Black Scale tee feaures the "Eye of Ra"which is pretty dope.

Ohh yeah I got the last pair of Blue 574 so I took the Undftd shoe stocking ahahaha..

Las Vegas. 4th of July Weekend Vacation 7/4-7/7

My dad decided to hit up LV for his birthday (which is actually July 4th as well) Left early as 8:00A.M on Friday and came back around 2P.M today. Barely any traffic heading there so that was chill.. but it took us over 2 hours to check in when we got there so my dad hustled the hotel for $50 worth of dining.. ahahaha since we were V.I.P. My parents got 1 room total but this room had 2bed rooms 1 master bed room.. a kitchen with a dishwasher/microwave/stove and silverwares etc.. There was also a laundry room within the room. In the master bedroom there was a shower and a jacuzzi w/ restroom.. wtfeeezy! I'm going to ask my parents if they can cop this room for me for my 21st birthday in 8 months. My mom says that were trying to get a bigger room (Presidential Suite) for New Years Eve for my family and my brother's gf family which is koo. Overall the trip was dope as fk... hit up alot of boutiqe's and left with more than I came with. ahahaha. Also didn't get to watch the fireworks since we went out to a buffet.. I could really careless for fireworks.

Next time I should bring my Tri-pod some of the pictures came out shakey. Ohh yeah my dad entered a 100 person $40 No-Limit Poker and got 3rd place and won $300. I'll post up my pick-ups tomorow.. got 2 New Balance, 1 Black Scale Tee, UNDFTD Fitted/Keychain.

1st and for most I updated my playlist since I acidentally deleted the other one and check out the youtube clip its funny as hell.

My brother took the camera to Vegas this past weekend for his friends 21st B-day. I wish I had it this weekend... went everywhere. Costa Mesa -> Long Beach -> Fairfax/Brea. Copped me Puma CLyde/2 Fitted/3 Tees. Went to Diamond to cop the RaekwonxDiamond Tee and actually got to see Raekwon live... and I was planing on taking pictures around Fairfax too but I couldn't... no camea.

Today decided to hit up Ron's shop to see how it's going and chill for a moment. Decided to take pictures as well. I really like how this shop turned out since it got evrything I am looking for... especially all the art gallery stuff. This shop also specializes in customs which you can order. They also got a mini lounge where you can play video games so I sat down and decided to play some Halo 2 with some of the workers... and if you already don't know me.. I'm a Halo3 addict ahahahaha.

So yesterday I started summer school and took up Music 101.. sh!t is so easy to read music iono how some people can't understand that.. and I'm pretty slow in comprehending sh!t too.

Wore this Proper Fitted with my Ubiq yesterday and a fresh white pro club I picked up the day before. Proper got some nice Fitted's. So if your ever in town check out Proper in the LBC.

Today wore my favorite cap.
Black and Purple is my favorite combo.
The Futura tee.. is one of the dopest if not the dopest tee's out there..
I wish more Graff artists had portrait pictures like those.. I would buy them all.

World Of Dance Tour 08

This past Saturday I went to the W.O.D. and thanks to Curtis(Dunkxchange) for letting me in for free. The venue was huge over 5000+ people showed up. I went with Robert (Donteventrip) and another Robert (Ceewok) from NSB. Couldn't take alot of pictures as I wanted caused they were strict on it. To my dissapointment, Jabawockeez didn't come through as I thought since it was the other members that arn't in the America's Best Dance Crew. To my surprise this one group from Houston,Texas killed the show. I think their name was Soreal or somthing like that. They took 1st place in the adult division. And I stood up for 4 hours watching the whole Adult Division. It was all good.. my legs were like jello after the show. I saw Fysh and Chicks which was dope.. Taeko Carroll is fioneeee! After the event (ended at 12Am) we went back home and got some Jack In The Box and took some pics of both Robert's car. The event was dope overall. If I find some videos on youtube I'll post them up of the performances.

PS. i didn't have the greatest seat in the house. ahaha

One hell of a night. 10Pm-12Am went clubbing with Carl and Vicky. 1-3Am Hooka. 3:30-5Am Drink. Didn't sleep till 6:30Am then woke up at 8:45Am to get ready for the Orisue sale. Was there by 10:30Am or so then didn't go home till 2:30 after going to the Del Amo swap meet. Then slept till 7 after coming.

Then later on that day weeeee in the morning my friends hit me up to play beer pong... so why the fk not?! ahahaha

1st Update for Two-Thousand & Eight.

Went to LA early this morning around 1Am and stayed there till 3Am. Went to Staples Center first but got kicked out went to deep in there. Then after that we saw this crazy tunnel and it was closed off they were shooting some prototype car for Lexus. Ronnel got in but I was just laughing my ass off that he actually got in. You can find the prototype car here http://lifesteez.com/012008.html . Then after that we saw this one plaza right next to the tunnel and took some pictures there. Also went to Skid Row which scared my ass. Hundreds of homeless person just sleeping. Then I made a right turn into this deep dark alley with at least 100-150 people just staring at us. Scared the shit out of me so I speeded out of there. Looks like they were going to throw HIV needles and AID rocks at us. Then after roaming around that area for a good 30min. we went to the Grand Hotel. They had some nice restroom. Marc/Brandon/Ronnel/Johnny went all the way to the rooftop but I stayed down cause I swear there was an alarm. But they got some dope shots. So to end the trip I took a picture of the freeway. There was a big traffic Jam, police cars just speeding trying to cut down the freeway to 1 lane.

Today was the grand opening of Active in El Segundo. In my opinion the closest Active to my house. Took some flicks... but really wasn't feeling like taking a picture. Randomly ran into Robert and Brandon over there then headed over to Proper to cop me some Proper Vans. Ohh yeah I copped me a flannel and the DVSxDiamond at Active. Then after all of that me and Adriel played some Halo3 till it was time to go to Katrina's 19th birthday. I wish my parents were koo like her parents.. letting her drink and such. Damn ama let my kid drink... ahahahahaha.

Dunkxchange Ft. U-N-I and Verbal Threat 12/8

Today I went the Dunkxchange with Donteventrip. Woke up late but its all good. Managed to sell 1 shoe so I'm good to go. The even was pretty packed since its almost once every 4 months now. Curtis and Gary always pulling it off so hat's off to them. Plenty of giveaways and freebies. Also alot of clothing vendors now mixed with shoes so that's good. Alot of variety but mostly Nike. Would love to see some NB table. Didn't see anything I like.. rarely see huarache's there. But here's the pictures from the event. Ohh yeah I'm satisfied with my pictures, especially that I brought my 18-55 with me for some close ups. Without further adue(sp?) enjoy.

Late Night Shooting 11/24

During the afternoon I went over to Marc Santos house to take some photos for her sisters debut thingy majig. Then later on went with Ronnel and some crazy ass kids he found at the skate park to take pictures. Brandon gave us a ride to the spot in Hollywood to shoot some pictures at a 10stair.. and on the other side a 15 stair (they only had 1 try at the 15 stairs cause of the security guard). There were 2 security guards. The girl security guard (she was patrolling for about 45 min) was chilled but the guy (came after 45 min) was a ass and we got kicked off. After we dropped off the kids me Brandon and Ronnel ate at In-N-Out then went to the loading docks in Best Buy to snap some shots then after that went to Costco (found a dope glass building but dirty as fk) and finally around 3A.M called it quits and came home.

On Sunday it was my brother's birthday. The family went to church at 11A.M and then ate at Thai BBQ for a quick lunch. Then later on we went to Manna Korean BBQ at Hollywood for Dinner. The bill was close to $600 for 23 people but it's all good. Then me, Adriel and Ria went to YogurtLand (or World w/e) at Fullerton cause Ria was craving it and I was curious wtf it was. I also bought my brother a pair of Nudies Slim Jim /CoupeDeGrace Tee/ and Patron TIME!!

When I woke up around 1Pm after the Hotel Party Ronnel hit me up to take pictures since he finally got his D40x. 1st we went to Vet's but the only dope skater left after a few minutes when we were there so we decided to hit up Redondo Beach. But for some odd reason it got dark fast.

Then later on went to June's house for her birthday and to my surprise her sister was doing one of those sex toys campaign.
After that I went to put my camera back in Adriel's car and just chill.
